Current Purdue Students
The Purdue John Martinson Honors College is a residential college that seeks to educate the whole student and to bridge the gap between curricular and extracurricular learning. The John Martinson Honors College hopes to draw curious, motivated, and dedicated students who want to take their academic journey to another level and be a part of a community of scholars.
Earn Honors Credits before you join
If you are interested in joining the John Martinson Honors College (JMHC), you are encouraged to enroll in an HONR course. The only requirement to take these courses is a 3.0 GPA, so you do not need to be officially accepted as an Honors student to register. This can help you get a feel for the curriculum and decide on applying to join our community. To explore your options, browse the current and upcoming HONR course catalog.
Potential JMHC students may also wish to try honors contracting a class prior to joining. Learn more about the honors contracting process to see how it works.
